This is these niggaz 2 album...They are outta West Memphis Arkansas and their last album was pretty straight....most of the songs sounded the same though which made me not want to bump it as much....This one starts off with an intro with a really nice beat with them just talkin over. Next up is “Tha Southside” and its a pretty tight lil track, it has an uptempo beat and some really nice flows, this cut is alot more up tempo and faster then any songs from their last album, it sounds more like Taylor Boyz old stuff. Track 3 is called “Fuckin With Some Thugs” and it features King Goldie, I really aint feelin this track at all, the beat doesnt go with the style of rappin on this junt at all and the content of their lyrics isnt that special.
DJ Squeeky is featured on this next track called “Buck Tha System” and he didnt make a typical Squeeky beat, it sounds like most of his newer whack stuff...Squeeky starts this cut off on the mic which he has been doing alot more of lately, he actually comes pretty nice, I really aint feelin the song in general though. “Murder’s Tha Antedote” has a very weird kind of chorus but the vocals on the chorus are pretty straight and it has a descent beat, you can at least bump this track. “No Refund On Yo Life”---now that is a title of a track that I want to hear, it sounds tight as fuck but the song doesnt live up to the title but its still pretty tight, the beat is annoying but the vocals are straight.
“Nothing But Some Pimpin” is a laid back track featuring the Grenade Posse and J.P from the group Men-E-Face or better known as Split Personality....this is one of tha better tracks on this album, everyone drops some nice vocals on it and the beat is bumpin. “I’ll Be That Nigga” features Al Kapone, this song really isnt anything whack or special either which way.....its something you could listen to if you were being too lazy to get up and change the track but nothing you would skip right to. “That’s The Bussiness” is next up and its a nice lil track with some tight vocals....if you like the way Project Playaz sound you would probably like this song cuz they remind me of them on this junt.
“Who Dat” has a really tight laid back beat...I am really feelin this cut, it sure stands out from the other cuts on this track. “Tell Me Why” features J.P. and has a very laid back beat.....it is somewhat of a slow cut bout why fucked up shit in the hood happens...it is easily the best track on the album. I wish more of the tracks on this album would sound like this. “Thug Niggaz Thug Livin” is the last track and it features C.A. whoever the fuck that is. It is a nice lil track that you can bump.
Overall this album is aight....It is a different feel then their last album, their first one had an underground feel to it but this one is more of a newer sounding Memphis feel but its still better then most of the shit droppin outta Memphis right now.
