Ananize I seen his ad for his album in a few magazines and saw flyers around town as well. He is coming straight from Tacoma, Washington and this kind of surprised me cause his album features Pimpsta & Kazy D who are from Texas. In all the album features Yukmouth, Pimpsta, Kazy D, Youngsta G, Strict 9, YZE, & Awall.
1. "Intro" Just a intro with Ananize getting shot.....nothing special.
2. "The Birth Of Ananize" Just a skit with an opera type singing of the name Ananize.
3. "Ride For Me" has a nice fast up tempo beat with a little basic piano in the background. Ananize starts of flowing nicely he raps sort of like Yukmouth style wise. He comes with a tight hook on this track and rips it up pretty much the whole track. Very good track to start the album off with...
4. "Tacoma to D-Town" has a tight ass beat, sounds like some like some laid back Texas shit mixed in with some west coast style a very tight beat for sure. This track features Pimpsta & Youngsta G and they both come very nice on this track as well as Ananize. This track was a good collab I didn't know what to expect but they laid this track out tight.
5. "Break Em" has a more deeper dark beat. has a mob style type baseline too it though. This track is about breaking bitches and he really sounds like Yukmouth on this song . This track features Kazy D and he comes tight as well I haven't heard much from him in a long time so it was good to hear him on a track.
6. "Street Life" has a nice laid back type beat/ sounds like some good kick back with the homies type shit. Ananize once again impresses me on this track with his flows, he also comes with a nice on the hook with some girl singing in the background.
7. "Caper" just a little skit
8. "Platinum" has nice dancy up tempo sounds like some shit from the Caribbean type shit. This track features Strict 9 & YZE and they both come tight im not sure but one of them is a girl and she comes pretty damn tight I was feeling her. Ananize comes real nice as well, the hook on this track is pretty tight too its different and catchy I was feeling it.
9. "Crazy Bout My Scratch" has a bouncy up tempo symphonic type beat pretty tight beat on this one. Has a nice laid back chorus with some guy signing. Ananize comes real good throughout the song another very good track to keep you listening.
10. "Nigga’s Actin Like They Know" has a basic beat nothing too special, has some background effects sounds like futuristic type shit. Ananize comes out nicely on this track he comes with a solid hook as well its basic but its pretty good how he laid it out.
11. "Playa Hata’s" has a nice west coast funk type beat, its a lot different that most of the beats on this album. This track features Yukmouth and he starts of with his with his "Little Boys & Girls" quote and rips up a pretty nice verse as he usually does on a guest spot. The hook has some girl singing and Ananize follows up with his verse nicely. Then Yukmouth comes in with another short tight verse and Ananize ends it out.
12. "Caper 2" another little skit about pulling a caper its nothing too special but worth at least a listen, has them blasting on some bitch at the Jewelry store and them smashing out on the police.
13. "Skit-Fast Life" is a skit with them going to someone's door has a tight as song playing in the background.
14. "Fast Life" has a nice mid tempo beat with some piano in the background. This track features Awall and he comes aight he aitn as tight as Ananize but spit something nice. Gots another nice little singing type hook its a little slower than most of the tracks on the album but worth a peep.
15. "We All Ballin" has a real funky type beat a lot different than most of the tracks on this album. This track features Awall & James and this track had me skipping this is the only track I wasn't feeling on this album others make like this shit but I didn't.
16. "Just Mobb" just an instrumental to a beat, should have made a song to it probably would have came out tight...
17. "This is How We Play" has a real laid back type beat, this is a summertime type beat, shine and recline type shit. Ananize starts off by talking about summertime and how we only get it about 2 days a year in this area cause all it does is rain here. He comes real nice throughout the track and the hook is some more singing laid back shit a good way to end this album out on...
18. "Outro" has a tight ass beat and Ananize ends his album out by rapping the outro out I was liking this shit as well should have made a song out of this shit....
This album shocked the fuck out of me I didn't know what to expect sound wise. This album sounds like a South/West album it doesn't sound like anything coming out of this area. Ananize gots some skills behind the mic only problem some peeps my have with him is that he somewhat sounds like Yukmouth but if you can look past that you will love this album. I suggest you go scoop this album up right away all the tracks are bumping except like one or two, my only other problem with this album is too many dam skits but its all good the songs make up for it.
