C-Bo is back with his 10th album "Life As A Rider" which is the follow up to Enemy Of The State. This album features the likes of Kokane, Outlawz, Killa Tay, Spade, 151, Yukmouth, Gangsta Dresta, CJ Mac, Boo Capone, Jamal, Lil Daddy, Speedy AKA Gotti Gotti, Young Meek, Don Twon, and Tray Dee.
1. "Cowboy" has nice laid back with some guitar in it samples the song by Bon Jovi called "Dead or Alive". The hook for this track is pretty tight a different feel to it but tight. C-Bo comes with soem pretty good flows to start this album out on.
2. "What U Know About" has another beat with some more guitar and piano and feels like some we bout to ride on em type shit. C-Bo starts this track out and spits a pretty nice verse on his part has sort of that yell type style on this one. C-Bo also does the hook and its decent. This track also features the Outlaws and they come tight as fuck like always very tight shit by them.
3. "West Coast" has a real symphonic type beat going on to it. This track features Killa Tay, 151, and spade. Killa Tay starts this cut out and does a decent verse nowhere near his best guest appearance. C-Bo handles the bizness on the hook and the second verse good shit by him. Spade and 151 end this track out was good to hear 151 aint heard from him for quite some time.
4. "I Am C-Bo" a little skit nothing special at all skip this....
5. "Creep" has a real laid back beat sounds like some lets get ready to fuck type shit. This track features Yukmouth and he spits some straight up mack shit on his part very long and tight verse. He also shares vocals on the hook. C-Bo comes real nice on his part as well overall a real nice track right here.
6. "Undadawgs" has a real symphonic feel once again sounds like some bang this shit type beat. This track features Gangsta Dresta and CJ Mac. They both come pretty nice for their verse on this cut I was feeling em for the most part. This track gots an aight hook going to it but overall a pretty tight track.
7. "Who Bangin" has a more up tempo beat its real basic something easy to flow to. This track features a gang of folks like Boo Capone, Jamal, Lil Daddy, Speedy AKA Gotti Gotti, Young Meek. They all come really tight for all their verses. This is basically an all out posse track with all these peeps just flowing away.
8. "If It Aint Ruff" has a real basic beat once again nothing super tight. C-Bo comes pretty tight with the flows on this track and the hook was tight as well. He came good with all that but I think the beat could have been better and made this track better. The beat made this track hard to listen to.
9. "Let Me Ride" real laid back beat sounds like some pimped up party type shit. This track features Don Twon and he does some singing on the hook for this track. C-Bo rips some decent pimp tyte lyrics on this cut overall a pretty nice track right here worth a peep for sure.
10. "Routine Check" has a real up tempo symphonic type beat. Reminds me of some older C-Bo type beats. This track even gots C-Bo spitting like he used to back in the days. He comes tight with the flows and the hook on this track a very tight track here definite peep right here.
11. "Who Got Flows" has a more up tempo beat to it real basic beat. This track gots a pretty nice hook going on to it nothing super tight but nice. This track gots C-Bo spitting pretty decent its a decent track overall as well worth a peep.
12. "Haters, Music, Hoes (Skit) a little skit about a fool acting like C-Bo.....a little funny might want to check it out.
13. "Don’t Love These Hoes" has a more up tempo beat sounds like some fiesta type shit. This track gots C-Bo getting down on the hoes once again. He comes pretty tight with the flows on this but the hook is kind of basic and not that great but track is worth a peep just needed a better hook.
14. "G’s & Hustla’s" this beat right here is tight as fuck some straight up raise up gangsta shit. This track features Tray Dee of the Eastsidaz. He comes fucking tight all the way through this track very good shit on his part. C-Bo lays it down on this track as well also very good shit by him. The hook on this track is tight and overall this track is fucking banging.
15. "Rag Lo-Lo’s" starts of with a very symphonic feel type beat overall a very tight beat right here. This track gots C-Bo spitting some pretty tight shit all the way through very good way to end this album out on. Another banger right here some good ride type shit right here.
16. "Outro" C-Bo just shouting out and spitting his mouthpiece. ...........
Overall the production on this album is decent mostly handled by Mike Mosley, Floss P and Rhythm D. C-Bo came nicely on the flows for this album overall but he could have came tighter he is capable of so much more. This album is pretty slammed with guest spots and most were pretty good so it kind of paid off. This album sounds like an album thrown together to get off Warlock some tight tracks but some very shitty ones as well. Overall this aint the best album it may be a little step up from Enemy of The State but I think the next C-Bo will tell the truth but until then you may want to scoop this if you are a C-Bo fan.
