Woodie is back with his fourth effort after putting out one album and presenting two compilations. His first album "Yoc Influenced" really made some noise which I believe landed him his deal with Koch. The album features the likes of Lil Los, Lou-E-Lou, B-Dawg, & Shadow.
1. "N The Bay" has a mid tempo beat sounds like some representing rise up type shit. Woodie comes heated with the flows and the hook on this track is real tight. This track features Lil Los and he comes with a tight verse as well a tight ass track to start this album out on.
2. "Demonz N My Sleep" has a mid tempo beat sounds like some mobb style shit mixed in with the x files beat. Woodie once again comes tight on the flows on this track real good shit by him. The hook on this track is tight also another nice track right here.
3. "Pray 4 Me" has a more up tempo beat nice piano mobby type beat. The hook on this track is done by Lou E Lou and he does it nicely good singing hook on his part. Woodie comes good on his raps on this track again nice clean flows from front to back on this track.
4. "Northern California" has a nice laid back beat sounds like some riding in the summertime to the waterfront type shit. This track features B-Dawg & Lil Los and they both come real nice on this cut. Woodie comes good on his raps on this track but overall just a decent track right here.
5. "Talez Of A Killa" starts out sort of a lullay bye type beat but kicks in nicely with the effects. Woodie comes real clean with his flows on this track and the hook on this one aint bad either overall another pretty good track.
6. "Northside Gangbang" has a real more of a deeper grittier beat. This track features Lil Los and he comes pretty good once again on his part good shit by him. This track gots a pretty good hook he lets it be known what he claming on this cut. Woodie also comes pretty tight on the flows for this track another pretty nice track right here.
7. "Off Night" has a nice laid back party type beat going on to it. It has a nice little singy type hook nice party type feel to it. This is more of a different track than Woodie has done for the rest of this album. This is a straight up party track and he does it nicely overall a pretty good track right here.
8. "Loyalty" has a nice mid tempo beat sounds like some im on the paper chase type shit. Woodie starts this track off ripping it up on his part. This track also features Lil Los once again and he spits some good shit on his part. The hook once again has some tight signing going on to it another tight track right here.
9. "Legit Slangz" has a different type of beat sounds like a computer love beat gone wrong or summing tight little beat. This track features B-Dawg and Lil Los. The hook on this track is decent by far not one of the best ones on this album. Everyone came clean on this track overall a decent track.
10. "Dreamin A Life" has a mid tempo type beat sounds like a single beat in a way. This track features Shadow & B-Dawg. Woodie comes real nice on this cut and so does everyone else. This track gots a tight singing hook by some girl. This is a nice laid back track but worth a peep its pretty tight.
11. "Whatever Tho" has a more mobby type beat with some nice synch type effects in the background. This track gots Woodie flowing pretty good overall and the hook is decent and this track is aight overall not the best and not the worst but definitely worth a peep.
12. "This Is Northern Cali" has a sort of guitar rock and roll feel type beat to it pretty tight. This track gots Woodie flowing really tight and the hook on this track is pretty tight as well. This track features shadow as well and he comes pretty good on his part for this track overall a good track to end this one out on.
Overall the production mostly handled by Woodie came really tight and most of the beats were banging. Woodie gots a tight flow going on to him and spits some tight shit on some songs. He really lets it be known on the cover and in his lyrics that he is repping for the red side of thangs. Overall my only problem with this album is such a low number of track he came so good on most of these tracks. More tracks would have made this a much tighter album overall. Looking forward to the next effort from Woodie but until then go pick this album up.
