Fiend is one of the only people I liked on the new style No Limit label, I was really feeling his first album and picked this up cuz I saw a tight video from this album. “The Rock Show” has a bumping ass beat like all of No Limit’s song, KLC did the beats so you know they on point, the vocals by Fiend are pretty solid on this track as well, it’s a pretty tight cut. My favorite cut is next up “Talk It how I Bring It” he had a video for this junt and it was off the hook, Fiend drops some really tight vocals on this track and the beat is flat out tight as fuck-----great song.
“War 4 Reason” is next up and this is another blazing ass cut, the vocals are on point by Fiend and the beat by KLC is fire as well. The fucking guest appearances are up next and this is where the album starts to go downhill, Mia X is featured on this next track “Get In 2 It” and this song is flat out terrible, first off Craig B fucked the beat all up and Fiend don’t sound good rapping to it. “Ak’n Bad” features Skull Duggrey and Mystikal, this song is aight at best, the beat is solid and the vocals by Fiend are tight but Skull Duggrey comes pretty weak like usual, even though I don’t like Mystikal he brings it pretty tight on this junt here.
“Heart Of A Ghetto Boy” is next up and it’s a slower style cut, it aint nothing I ever bump, its just a little too slow for me. “Trip To London” features Kage and this track is hella soft, the beat has way too much going on in it and the vocals arent anything that special either. Track 9 is “The Truth Is” and its another bullshit cut, it is some song bout pickin up a female, its nothing special at all. “Been Thru It All” features Magic, this track has a little too much yelling for me, if you like these get buck type of No Limit tracks you will love this shit but I honestly hate it.
“Mr. Whomp Whomp” is a tight ass lil track, the vocals by Fiend are hella tight and the beat is really solid as well, everyone will like this shit. “I Was Placed Here” features Holloway of Ghetto Commission, this song is off the hook, both Fiend and Holloway come really tight on the mic on this track, the beat by Carlos is very tight as well. “I’m Losing My Mind” is track 13, the vocals and beat are pretty straight on this track, it aint bad but it aint that tight, you can at least listen to it without fast forwarding.
“They Don’t Hear Me” is next up and its terrible, it sounds like a yelling contest and shit, the beat is flat out shitty, I don’t know what the fuck they were thinking when they made this bullshit. “If They Don’t Know” follows this and it aint much better, there is some annoying ass clapping noise in the background, the vocals aint bad though. “Walk That Line” is a very solid track that Fiend shines on vocal wise, the beat is blazing also, I could roll to this shit all day long, it has a very laid back feel to it.
The last track is “Waiting On God” and it’s a very solid slow style cut about going to heaven, Fiend really shows his maturity as a rapper, he drops some really solid vocals on this track. Overall this album is a pretty solid release for a No Limit album, it isnt too full of guest appereances which usually fuck up their albums, all the songs that have good beats are pretty tight cuz Fiend brings tight shit to the mic. Pick this shit up if you like Fiend or if you like the old tight sounding No Limit, even though it has a little bit of the new feel to it as well.
