This is King George’s first release after leaving No Limit, he had a feud with Master P right before “Ice Cream Man” came out, he didn’t like the direction P was taking by selling out. King George used to produce a lot of TRU’s old shit and other albums, he was part of TRU. Many people don’t like this album but it is off the hook to me. The first cut is “Shady” and it has a really tight beat and the vocals are pretty solid as well, it takes a second to get used to his voice, if you grew up liking him from TRU you will be able to adjust to this a lot better.

“As My World Turns” is next up and its flat out tight as fuck, the beat is off the hook, one of the best beats I have heard and KG, Grip and Gangsta Poet all drop really tight vocals on this track. “Street Sense” is next up and its hella tight as well, the beat is very solid and the vocals are really tight, King George, Grip and TC all rap on this track. “Check Your Game” is next up and it’s the first weak cut on the track, I guess it aint too weak but it is a very laid back track that I really never bump much.

“So Much Cash” is track 6, it features Grip and King George droppin vocals on the mic, the beat is really tight, I think about everyone would like this track. “Life Of A Kingpin” is next up and shit mane, this song is off the map, the beat, vocals and everything is really solid, it is one of King George’s best cuts ever. “Out Tha Pen” is next up and its another winner, the vocals by KG and Grip are very solid, they talking bout just getting outta jail and shit, its very solid, the beat is really tight also, AK did a great job on it.

“My Message” is a slower style cut, this track is pretty weak, it is talking bout fucked up shit in the world. “One Day At A Time” follows this and it’s a descent sounding cut, I really never bump it that much because you have to scroll up bout 1 minute before they rap on it, its nothing that special though. “Deep In the Game” is next up and it features Sassy V, the vocals and content are aight on this track, it’s a cut that you can bump but nothing you skip right to to listen to. “Play On Me” is track 13 and it features Calli G from the original TRU, this cut is hella weak though.

“As My World Turns” which is the original version to track 3, this cut is very solid as well, I like the remix a lot more though. “Incarceration” is a very slow style cut, it is crazy as fuck, the vocals are weird as fuck, he is talking bout people in jail and shit, you can tell he has spent time up in their with the amount of detail he goes into, the song aint nothing I ever listen to though. “Eye 4 An Eye” features Sandman, it’s a very solid cut, the beat is very tight and the vocals are good as well.

“Playa Hate” features Ki-Ki and Calli G, it is a weak ass track, I cant believe he is serious with this track, but his new shit is all like this so I aint that amazed with this bullshit. “Tales From Da Hood” is track 19, it has a descent beat and the vocals are so-so, its aight at best. The last track is the “Street Junkies” and it’s a very tight lil cut, its only 2 minutes long but King George drops some hella tight shit on the mic.

Overall this is a very solid album, if you are into music that actually talks about something and you get a reward for listening to what they are saying, it’s a nice album to have. The new style crowd that likes rap music wont like this at all, you actually will think its whack as fuck. But if you grew up listening to that old school No Limit from 93-96 you will most definetly like this album.
