Mane it had been some years since I heard anything from these niggas. There first 2 albums were off the hook. DaLo which did most all of the producing done left them, so they are short one person and it really shows on this album. The first cut is pretty tight though "Buck Em Down" it has a nice beat and some good lyrics. "Dope Game" is up after that and it is a different kind of style for TA but its a really nice song, I love the laid back chorus and the beat. Track 4 is called "World War III" and this shit is straight up terrible----I aint feelin this track at all. Track 5 is called "Ghetto Is The Trigger" and its a very slow cut which I aint feelin either---I am getting disappointed at this point of the album already. "Strange" is next up and this shit is worse then the last 2 cuts combined--what they fuck are these niggas thinking.
"Lifestyle of A G" is up next and this is a prime example of what happened when DaLo left---they used to have all tight beats but this shit is just terrible. "Never Know When" is the next track and its a very laid back slow song, its alright but when I buy a Top Authority album I want to hear gangsta shit. "Dreamin" is a bangin ass cut, it has some tight ass lyrics and the beat is dat on dat but its only like 1 minute long. "Playaz" is another crunk ass cut, this shit is off the hook, the lyrics are tight as fuck, I am really feelin this song. The beat is very chilled also, it features Big Whup. Track 11 is called "Trying So Hard" is an alright cut, they drop some nice lyrics but it still aint tight like their old shit.
The last cut is called "Haters" and its pretty straight but it still aint tight enough to save this album. Overall this album is alright at the best, it aint like their last 2 albums, the beats are totally different which fucks up alot of shit. They are killing everyone on this cd also but its still straight. If you are a TA fan you should pick it up but everyone else could do without this album.
