This is Boo’s third release, it now looks like he is off the Concentration Camp with C-Loc now, probably because C-Loc’s distribution was all fucked up. This first few albums were really solid and I expect the same outta this. “1 Life I Love” is the first track, this track is aight, he drops some aight vocals on this track but the beat is kinda suspect, I don’t sound like Happy Perez produced this album at all, it don’t say on the inside cover either. “it Aint Nuttin” is up next and its basically weak as fuck, the beat is flat out terrible and the content of the track isnt much better.
“Type Of Girl” has a very laid back feel to it, it somewhat reminds me of his last album but it still aint as tight, the beat is really nice but the vocals arent all the way up to par, its still straight though. “U Know” is track 5 features some nigga I don’t know that flows pretty fast to start it off, it is a little too commercial sounding to me though, the beat reminds me of some fake ass Cash Money shit. “Rainbow” follows this and its laid back track that has some descent vocals and a solid beat, nothing to get too excited over but you can at least listen to it.
“Infatuation” features Papa Reu, this track is pretty tight, he is talking bout fuckin females like normal, if you like the normal type of Papa Reu type of track you will really like this track, it’s a nice laid back track. “601 504 901” is next up and it’s a a collaboration of a Memphis rapper, New Orleans, and Jackson one. Boo is the only one that I can identify on this track, which is crazy as fuck, it’s a straight cut. “I Like 2” is a laid back track that features Young Bleed, this cut is off the hook, Bleed drops some really tight vocals and the beat is very chilled, something just to chill to or roll too.
“Birds Fly South” is the remake of the classic first cut off his first album, this shit is hella tight, it don’t beat the first one but it gives it justice. The beat on this track is very solid and the vocals are hella tight as well. “Hustla’s Prayer” is a slower style cut, he drops some nice vocals on this junt but its nothing that draws your attention too hard, you can let it play through but its nothing you skip right to so that you can bump it. LayLo is featured on this track, he comes pretty tight. Track 12 is called “Open Fire” and it’s a terrible cut, the beat is shitty as fuck and the vocals aint much better, someone starts this track off that is shitty, I cant identify him though.
Next up is “Talking Loud” and this shit sounds like some fake ass East Coast song, the beat aint too bad but Boo is really slippin on the lyrics and his style overall, I could never get into this track, C-Loc comes in with a suspect verse also. Track 14 is “Pay Me” and it’s a very tight cut, the beat is cold as fuck and the vocals dropped by Boo are off the hook, this is what I expected the whole album to be like, this reminds me of his old shit. “Pick It Up” follows this and the beat basically fucks this track up and the chorus doesn’t help either, you really get turned off by this track from the get go and its smart to change the song right then because it gets a lot worse.
“If I Tell U” is pretty much a shitty cut, It sounds soo terrible, the flows arent even rapped on beat or anything, it has some fast ass tango type of beat or something but the chorus is laid back, it might not be bad if the beat matched the song, the beat aint bad either though, they just don’t go together. The last cut is called “No Game” and it’s a pretty solid track, it has a laid back feel to it like most of Boo’s tracks. Overall this is a descent album, I expected a lot more from him, he don’t really come gangsta at all on this album but that aint necessarliy his style, he has more of a pimp style to him but he incorporated some gangsta shit into his last few albums more then he did on this album. The production and beats were really lacking on this album.
