These niggas are from South Carolina. They are the first group I have ever heard out of SC, I was kinda reluctant to buy this shit when it first came out, I thought it was a bunch of yelling and shit but it really suprized me. “Country Blood” is the first track, it has a very nice beat to it and the vocals are very solid as well, its not a really tight song but its still straight. Next up is “War Face” and it features Pastor Troy and Muffie. This song is tight as fuck, its more of a rough and rugged style but they are flowing pretty fast up on this track, the beat goes really well with the vocals.
“Alma Mata” is more of a laid back track, it’s a really nice song that you can chill too. “Dream Killaz” is up next and its very tight, the beat is blazing the vocals are really tight, they are dropping some pretty quick flows on this shit. “Platiunum Box” sounds like an Atlanta cut, it’s a pretty tight cut though, the vocals are very solid. The beats aint really all that though---you can at least bump this song somewhat. “Feel The Fire” is track 6 and its basically shitty, the beat is terrible and they don’t drop anything vocally wise that stands out.
“Don’t Give” is up next and it’s a pretty tight cut, the beat is on point and the vocals are dat on dat---very nice chilled cut. After that is “Look Out!” and this shit isnt anything special at all, just sounds like an average song. “If You (With All)” is next up and it’s a pretty shitty cut, they aint original on this track at all, I have probably heard 1000 songs just like this shit. Track 10 is called “Stress Reliever” and it’s a laid back smoking style cut. The beat is very nice and the vocals are hella tight, you could chill to this shit and get blown. “Vacation” is a lil 2 minute long cut, its straight but nothing special, beat is nice and the vocals are alright.
“Baddazz 2000” is next up and it has a blazing ass beat, the vocals are very solid also, this is one of my favorite tracks on this album. “Just Slide” sounds like a Do or Die type of song, they are kinda slipping the vocals like they do. It has a nice lil chilled beat and the lyrics are very tight. “Hi-Yaa” is a weird type of song, the beat and the samples are really trippy. I don’t know what to think of this song, the vocals are hella tight but the beat and shit—I really don’t know if I like em. Track 15 is called “D-Head and Alcoholic” is a very laid back track, it doesn’t stand out from the rest of the songs, its just an average cut that you could listen to but nothing that you would go right to when you pop in the cd.
“Self Reloading” is more of a yelling type of song, which I thought the whole album would be like but it really aint. I aint feelin this track at all cuz I hate that style of rapping. The last track features Big Moe from Houston, “Deep In Tha South” and it aint nothing special at all, if you gonna bring his ass all the way up to SC to make a song, you might as well do it good, this sounds like shit.
Overall this is a pretty nice lil album. There really isnt all whack ass tracks on here but on the other hand there isnt a lot of tracks that stand out either. It’s a nice album to check out, I really don’t know how much I will bump this shit in the future. I think the younger crowd would like this album a lot more then the older crowd.
