VIP I have never really heard of them before and all I really know is that they are from Merrillville Indiana which i have not seen many artists coming out of. Their style sounds a little Memphis mixed in with some Midwest and the group consists of 5 members. (3:57)
1. "Repercussion" is a good song to start the album with which has a nice chorus and a nice basic beat not too many instruments but still hard hitting. They all flow real nice on each of there verses making you want to get more not the album. (3:57)
2. "Dollar In The Wind" is one of my more favorite tracks on the album and it has some guy singing the hook with a real nice beat. They all once again rap some nice verses and this is a nice track. (4:43)
3. "Midwest" also has a real nice laid back type beat and features Nic Sak, Nel, P-G, and Snake Eyes. They all flow pretty good on this track and on this track you get to hear Snake Eyes rap which is the producer of the group. (6:42)
4. "RIP" has a real slow beat and has a guy named coop singing the hook and this track is basically a song about homies dieing and the pain and the struggle. They still rap nice on this track and if you like these kind of tracks you will like it. (6:50)
5. "Homicide Killas" has a tight basic beat and features Nic Sak plus they all come pretty nice on the raps with an aight chorus but it is still a pretty good song. (4:10)
6. "Warzone" is a little faster more up tempo beat for this album and they all come real good on this song and is also one of the better songs on the album. (5:13)
7. "G.I. Style" is a nice beat with some piano in the background and the chorus isn't bad and they come pretty nice with the flows on this track as well. (4:42)
8. "Busy Bee" has an aight beat with a straight chorus but the flows are nice on this track even though I don't like how the chorus went with the flows. (5:50)
9. "24/7" is the next track and has a real nice laid back beat cause its a smoking song and you know how them smoking song beats have to be. Well this one is aight not one of my favorite smoking tracks but it isn't bad. (3:53)
10. "Skit" just a skit you can listen if you want nothing special probably just have u skipping like most other skits. (2:51)
11. "17 To Milla" has a real nice beat with some piano in the background and is another tight track on this album with some real good flows. (8:02)
12. "Fuck Up Your Trunk" has a weird eerie type of beat and is an aight track nothing special that will have you playing this track over and over. (4:43)
13. "Demo" has a tight beat and they flowing about hoes and shit on this track pretty tight track im liking this, its one of my more favorite tracks on the album as well. (4:54)
14. "YDK" has another weird beat with like some violins in the background and is also another one of them aight filler type tracks but is bumpable but nothing to get stuck on. (4:19)
15. "Hand Still Dirty" is the last song on the album and it has an aight piano beat nothing too special but has some nice flows and I liking this track good way to end the album. (4:28)
16. "Outro VIP Forever" its just an outro nothing special but has a tight beat. (2:58)
In the end this album isn't bad for some no namers from Indiana. There style reminds me of Memphis in some ways and in others its a Midwest flavor. In the group they have some people that got some real nice flows then there are some that are okay one guy stands out the most to me he sort of sounds like k-rock to me not as fast but he's pretty tight. The beats are basic and hard hitting and tight if you like that kinda shit. Their main producers are Snake Eyes and P-G. If you can find this album and you have some extra money you should probably scoop it up.
