This album didnt get any exposure in MEMPHIS or anywhere else, but it is pretty good. This group is different from the 196 Clique from Memphis, this group is composed of Nigga 9 and Cyde Manson and P.A.T. does the producing. Nigga 9 has been featured on many Memphis projects and shines on this album along with Cyde Manson. The intro on this junt is tight as fuck, it is just like the Criminal E and Underground Sam intro---not exacly but the same type of style, bumping ass beat and some tight ass vocals. Nigga 9 and Cyde Manson really come tight as fuck on this junt.
“Ashes 2 Ashes” is a tight ass track, the beat by PAT is really solid and the vocals are very tight---everyone should like this gangstafied track. These niggaz dont flow fast but they are cold. “Wicked Wayz” starts off really tight then turns into garbage, it features D-Lax and Flo. SkaFace Al Kapone is featured on the next track but its whack, its called “Throw Yo Hands Up” and its a dance type of song, I skip over it every time. “I Hate My Hoes” is next up and it was also features on Memphis 2 Da Bombed Out Bay and the Memphis Undaground video, its a tight ass song with a bumping ass beat.
“Ready To Die” is track 6, this song is horrible, one of the worst tracks I have heard for a while. “War (We Always Ready)” is next up and its tight as fuck, very nice beat and the flows by: Chili D, Sweet Talk, Snipe, Illamoe are all tight as fuck, very evil sounding track. Up next is “Madman” and its another tight cut, the beat is very evilish again and the flows are tight as fuck. Everyone should love this track, it has those old style evil beats that are soo cold.
“Jazzy Hoes” is next up and it is a pretty soft track, talking bout hoes and shit, the beat is tight though, I just dont like the content of the track. The last track is called “Drama We Bring” and it features Malaki and Crazy, it has a really solid beat and nice vocals. Overall this is a pretty solid album, nice beats and nice flows. Alot of the beats have that old style evil feel to them, these niggaz dont rap fast but not slow either, its a nice lil cd for the collection.
