B-low u have probably heard the name before if u have ever visted
Down-South.com or his old site which was also popular to the memphis
underground crowd called M-Town Bound. After seeing this album advertised
for months on down-south.com I got the album. The first track on the album
"Low Down N Dirty" has a nice beat and features Sinikal and they both drop
soem nice flows for this song. The next track "Wassup With These Hoes" has a
nice beat but the chorus is horrible and the raps were not all that great as
well. "Tryin To Get Back" is the next track and this song has an aight beat
and the chrous once again is kinda plain and not all that great but the
flows coem a lilttle better.
"Funkyville" is the next track on the album and
this track is one of the better tracks on the album and has a nice beat with
a good chrous and nice flows. "Goin Out Like Montana" is the next track and
it has an aight beat and the chrous is a little better than previous tracks
and the flows come aight on this track. "End Up Dead" is the next track not
a great beat and the flows were kinda sloppy on this track. "Ski Mask Over
My Evil Grin" is the next track and features Sinikal and this is another one
of the good songs on the album they both come pretty good on this track.
Next Track "Catch up With You Kind" has an aight beat but nothin special
will having u skippin to your next track. "Ten Toes Down" is the next track
is has also one of the better beats on the album and is one of the more
bumpable songs that i like.
"I Aint Concerned" is an aight track has an
aight beat and the flows are not that bad on this track. "The Way It Goes"
is the next track has a pretty good chrous and a nice beat with some pretty
decent lyrics also another bumpable track. "Ana Got Me Clickin" is the next
cut and has a tight beat followed by some good lyrics on this track. The las
ttrack on the album "B-Low Is My Name" is an aight track with some aight
flows but nothin special. This album could have been alot better i think if
he would have put alot more time into it. The beats on the album have very
little bass and are all made by a keyboard which made soem of em sound the
same. You could have probably made better beats with more bass on a computer
made program B-lows flow was on good on certain tracks but other tracks he
flowed off beat or it seemed like he tryed to fit way too many words into a
verse and it made it sound crammed together. His style is nothin to special
he sounds like a skinny version of haystak but Sinikal came real tight on
the two tracks he was features on and i am looking foward to maybe seeing an
album from him.
Overall this album was not that good to me I only bumped
about 3 or 4 tracks out of 14. B-low is suppose to drop a new album this
fall and its suppose to have a nice roster of local memphis rappers which
will probably mak his new albumalot better. I heard his new single and its
nothin specail it sounds like the same old shit from his first album with
the same keyboard beats. In end this album was not very good and i would
recommend not to buy this album unless u got some extra money or u are just
a die hard fan of Tennessee rap. Look foward to B-lows new album "Double
Crossa"
