ONE OF THE MOST SLEEP ON ALBUMS, I never hear anyone talk about Tha Cellmates and I think they are so tight. They dont really rap with anyone else from Memphis but they got the sound of a Memphis group mos def. They tell stories in their raps, they dont just talk bout how much money they got and shit like that, so you can actually listen to the words and appreciate it. This group consists of Tha Kaptin and King Tweet.

The first cut is just a normal intro of just talking and shit like that, it is followed by “Victim” which has a crazy beat to start it off, you might be like this shit is whack but kept listening and you will soon find out how dope it is, the beat changes up and you will hear their clean ass flows. Their voices are soo smooth on the mic, its relaxing and shit, the beats are nice and smooth as well, they tell stories throughout all their songs. “We Aint Playing” is next up and its another tight track, the beat is blazing and the vocals are off the hook.

“Hands Of Tha Enemy” is track 4 and again its a blazing ass track, the beat is uptempo and the flows are tight as hell---everyone will be able to get down with this shit. “A Bustas No Hustla” is a very laid back track that kicks some real shit bout Bustas and shit like that, nice story and bumpin beat to go along with it. “Gee’s-N-Enemies” is another laid back smooth style track that you can just bounce your head to, great beat and nice vocals. “Ghetto Cruzin” is a song that you can just mob to all day long, the beat is pounding and smooth, the vocals are very tight as well---just a great song.

“In My Hood” is a more gangstafied cut then the others, all the songs are gangsta but this is more of a get out and kill a muthafucka type of song, it has a tight ass beat and the story on this cut is tight as fuck. “Lil Boy” is track 10 and its another winner, there hasnt been one whack song on this album so far and its not gonna start here, this song has a tight beat and great vocals---another good story is entailed within this song. “Pressure World” is next up and it is one of the weaker cuts on this cd but shit its still tight as fuck, its a very deep song with a low bassline---everyone will still love this track even though its one of the worst tracks on this cd.

“Fina Cum” is the worst song by far on this album, its the only song I cant listen to, it just is pretty weak. The last cut is “Chronic 101” and it uses a beat from a previous song, nice laid beat one I might add. The content of this song is just talking bout getting blown and shit, its a very tight track for yall bud smokers.

I would recommend everyone to get this album(if you can find it). It was released on Priority/Brutual records back in 96 but Im sure it is out of print now. It is a must have. It has to be one of my favorite albums I own and I couldnt see myself ever departing with it, if you dont like this shit, something is wrong with your ass, you need to go to the doctor and see whats the deal.
