This album is old as hell, it came out in 92 and Pat has a strong West Coast Feel to him on this one. The first cut "All About Comin Up" is very old sounding along with all the other songs, this shit is pretty much shitty, It might have been tight 10 years ago but now, it is terrible. "Stay Away From Cali" has a really tight beat and Pat drops some dope ass vocals on this track, it aint no fast flowing but the lyrics are really nice. "I'm Still The Gangsta" is basically just like Gangsta Blac's I Am Da Gangsta, it has the same beat which is very uptempo, I aint feelin this cut though.
"Gangsta Groove" is just a beat, its just like all of DJ Quiks albums, they all got Quik's Groove on them and its all instrumentals, this is a laid back beat, nothing special though. "Spend The Night" is some slow down R & B love song bullshit, it is terrible. "My Neighborhood" has a terrible beat, I guess this might have been tight a long time ago but I cant feel this shit at all. Up next is "Gangsta Boogie" and its alright but nothing that tight. Right after this is "Wattookmesolong" is a reggae song, this is very tight, it reminds me of Spice 1 doing his shit, but not as good as Spice's, but this shit if off the hook.
"Fatal Attraction" has a rock beat to it and it has nice lyrics but I cant feel this rapping to a 80's heavy rock beat. "Gangstas Need Love, Too" is track 10 and its another slow love track. Up next is "My Name Aint Rover" and this shit cracks me up, this nigga has lost his mind with this song, its terrible. The last track is called "Dedication" and it aint nothing but shout outs. Overall this album is shitty, I dont think it was even tight when it came out in 92, but it would be really hard to get into this shit right now, I might have been able to bump it back in 92 but now there is no way possible, I am only really feelin the reggae cut on this album.
