I decided to review this album to educate people, I figure any rap fan of this south has to has this album because it is one of the best albums ever made, but for you that dont have it, here is a review and praise of how great it is. Straight outta Orange Mound, Memphis niggas-its the original niggas Eightball & MJG, the intro is just talking and shit-its tight though. "9 Millimeta Boyz" is crunk as fuck--these niggas drop tight ass vocals on this shit, the beat is bangin-MJG and Eightball both come hard as fuck on this shit. Track 3 is called "The First Episode" and mane this shit is blazing-this song is indescribeable-it is too dam cold-MJG starts shit off with a crunk ass verse-the beat is blazing also-he then drops another tight verses on the next verse. Then the fat mack comes in and tears shit up with that old school pimpin & hustlin shit. LOL mane these niggas kill me with this dope ass shit.
"Armed Robbery" is a classic story tellin cut, they are talking bout how they robbed someplace and how they got away-its a crunk ass cut-this is real rap music here-they are talking bout something and telling a story-very nice beat and crunk ass lyrics. "Pimps" is another classic song-its a slower cut all bout pimps and hoes-Eightball starts off on this shit kickin straight pimpin-yall need to listen to this shit and gain some knowledge. MJG drops a tight ass verse next-this song is very tight. "Comin Out Hard" is the next cut and its blazin also-very nice lyrics and beats.
"Mr. Big" is track 7 and another classic-Eightball is telling the story of how he came up to where he is now on this cut. This shit is very tight-one of the best songs I have ever heard in my life-the beat is raw as fuck and the lyrics are on point. "Niggas Like Us" is next up and this shit is crunk as fuck, Eightball starts off droppin tight ass vocals along with this bangin beat-MJG comes in and rips shit also-----great song. "Pimps In The House" is the last cut and is another tight cut..
Overall you should slap your fuckin self if you dont have this album... Every single one of these songs are better then any song released in the last 2 years on anyones album. This album started it all, it doesnt have too much of an old feel either for an old album. Its only 9 songs but its worth payin as much as 40 dollars for-take my word for it and buy it before it goes out of print--you wont regret it.
