This is these kats 5th or 6th album, the only bad thang is that they keep getting worse with each album. They used to be one of my favorite groups ever but they are slowly fading away. This album is better then that In Our Lifetime bullshit. This shit might satisfy some of the mainstream music listeners and people that like Cash Money and shit like that. But I was pretty dissappointed. The intro on this track is just a little musical mix that they do, it really don’t have much rapping on it, just a little talking and shit. It’s a alright track.
“I Know U” has a straight up terrible beat, these niggas don’t sound right to this beat, this song is weak as fuck. “Things” features Tiny from Xscape and Jazze Pha, it’s a laid back slow cut, its alright but nothing that could touch any of their old shit. “Collard Greens” has a really tight beat, and Eightball starts this shit off pretty tight and MJG comes in and drops some tight shit also---its one of the better tracks on the album. That nigga Thorough from the classic South Circle album is on “Pimp Shit” but he only does the chorus on this track. The song aint nothing special at all.
Track 6 is called “Buck Bounce” and it features DJ Quik, it really sounds like a DJ Quik beat, well actually he did produce this track, it’s a straight cut for a dance club and shit, nothing gangsta for real though. “Speace Age 4 Eva” is up next and it features Peachee P, it’s a pretty weak cut, nothing I would ever bump, too dam uptempo. “Pimp Hard” is one of the few Pimp type of cuts on this album which Eightball & MJG used to be known for, this song is pretty tight, they both drop some pretty tight vocals on this shit. Its still nothing that I would bump like their old shit, I might listen to it a little but it aint nothing that I would push the repeat button on.
“Boom Boom” features Swizz Beatz, this shit is terrible, one of the worst songs I have ever heard from them. “Always” is another weak ass cut, the beat is terrible and Eightball is rapping off the beat the whole time, it sounds whack as fuck. Up next is “At Tha Club” and it’s a descent track bout dancing at the club and shit, nothing that tight though, I don’t think I will ever listen to this song after today though. “Jankie” is a really tight track that they always play up on Music Choice—it’s a pretty solid track with a banging beat, both MJG and Ball get off on this track. DJ Quik produced this cut.
“Its All Real” is a deep track, Eightball drops some really thought provocation lyrics and vocals, it’s a slower style cut. It’s a pretty nice track. The last track is called “Thank God” and it features Swizz Beatz again, it’s a pretty nice beat that is laid down and Ball really shines on this track. Overall this album is soft as fuck, these niggaz went from Pimps to Simps. I wouldn’t recommend anyone that likes their old shit to pick this up because it’s a totally different style. For the people that like mainstream shit and shit like that, yall probably will love this album.
