This is one of the best Texas albums I have ever heard, it took me forever to finally get it, I had heard this nigga on all of DJ Screw’s album and figured he was dope as fuck cuz his shit on Screw’s album was flat out crunk. DJ Screw produced this album. The first cut features Lil Mel who is a 9yr old nigga that flows tight as fuck, he drops a really nice verse to this tight ass beat. Next up is “Lost In Tha Hood” and its off the hook, AL-D drops some really tight vocals and this beat is flat out tight. “Let Me Blow” has a really tight laid back beat to it and the vocals are very laid back as well, he comes really tight on this track, it’s a really solid track to chill too or to roll too.
“Can U See This” is a very deep cut that is amazing, this shit is too dam tight, I loved this shit from the first time I heard it, he is talking bout all the fucked up shit in society and he bring it really tight vocally and the beat is very solid as well. “Who Am I 2 Look Up 2” features Lil Mel and this is a very slow style cut, I really don’t ever bump it, it’s a little too slow for me but it’s a very deep song dealing with deep issues. “Ghetto Child” is track 6 and this shit has a really tight beat and really solid vocals, Dren is featured on this track, he comes pretty tight.
“Homies Funeral” is another slower style cut, it aint too slow though, the content of the song is really tight and deep, it’s a very solid track. Track 8 is “Long Live 83rd” and its another very slow style cut but again it’s a very gangstafied cut bout shooting up niggaz and shit, its really tight if you like laid back tracks. “Screw 1” is the first of 4 screwed tracks that are all off the fucking hook, this cut is really tight, its basically a mix of verses and shit thrown together and a dope beat is put to it and then screw slows it down.
“Screw 2” is track 10 and its another really tight cut, everyone that likes the “real” screw shit will like this shit. “Screw 3” is next up and it’s a very laid back track, I can get faded to this shit all dam day long, its soo laid back that you can blow big indo or get big bent to all day. The last track is “Welcome 2 Tha Jungle (Screwed)” and its another really solid track, the beat is taken from an MC Eiht cut (All 4 the money) and this shit is off the hook, the vocals and the beat are flat out perfect, everyone can get down with this shit here.
Overall this is a very tight album, its vintage Texas shit from back in 1995 when they was coming the hardest, its pretty hard to find nowadays but I think there are still a few floating around here and there. I would recommend everyone to pick this shit up though.
