This is Coop MC’s second album, this first album “Home Of the Killaz” is tight as hell. He comes with a different style on this album, this is more laid back, makin money and talking bout money type of cd, his first album was more bout killaz and gangsta shit. “Playa Principal Club Mix” is the first cut, it features Young Guns and JAM, its a laid back track talking bout chickenhead bitches and shit like that, I aint feelin it at all. “Coop MC” is the next track and it features JAM, it is an alright cut at best, nice laid back beat but the content of the song really isnt anything too impressive.
“Maximize Your Profit” follows this and it features another very laid back beat, the vocals Coop MC drops are very laid back as well, this song is really tight, he drops some nice vocals. “Mo Drama” is next up and it has a terrible beat, it basically fucks the song up from the get go, the vocals arent too bad but I cant get past the beat. Track 5 is “Lost Soul” which features N.I.C. of the Young Guns, it is a laid back slow style track, the beat is pretty nice for a slow beat but I aint really feelin this track, its just too slow/depressing.
“Guess Who” features N.I.C. again and its off the hook, the beat is very tight and the lyrics are solid as well---one of the better tracks on the album. “Superfly” follows a solo singing track, it has a very shitty style beat to it, the flows are really tight though---I guess the beat aint too bad but I have heard alot better. “Natural Style” is next up and it features Jonnie Quest and Ant Live, Jonnie starts this shit off with a really tight verse, he has a strong East Coast rapping style to him----this song is pretty soliid.
“Currency” is a laid back track by Coop MC, this is the closest song on this album that sounds like his old shit------its a pretty nice lil track. “Is It Cool” is another laid back track, well shit all the tracks he drop are, it features Golden Lungs, it is talking bout bitches and shit, nothing really that appealing to me. Track 12 is “Drug Related” and it features that nigga PSK-13, it is probably the best track on the album, the beat is off the hook and the vocals are very tight as well.
20-2-Life are featured on the next track “Some Die” and it is a slower style cut with a very solid simple beat. It is a nice cut to chill out to but its nothing I would really skip right to so that I could bump it. The last track is “Ballin Outta Control” and guess what? Its another laid back track, its pretty soft.
Overall I am very dissappointed with this album, I was pretty generous on my review but the overall grade is gonna suffer, it really doesnt have anything that stands out on it that would make me want to bump it again. I suggest you go buy his first album “Home of the Killaz” but leave this one at the store.
