I was too dam glad when this came out cuz Mr. Mike was off the hook on South Circle. But this ended up being a huge disappointment. It starts off with a normal intro with just talking and shit like that. "Southwest" is track 2 and its pretty tight, Mike drops some nice vocals to a really nice beat. "G's Perspective" has grown on me over the years, he drops really nice lyrics on this track and the laid is very laid back also---its a really nice cut. Track 4 is called "Where Ya Love At" and its a very laid back cut and this nigga is asking you where is your mutha fucking love----its really nice, he had a video for this cut.
"Total Shock" is next up and its one of the best songs on the album, the beat is pounding and the vocals are off the hook. "Untouchable" is the next track and its flat out shitty---nothing good at all. "Can You Feel Me" is track 7 and its a straight song but nothing that tight. "Midtro: Heres Your Ticket" is a lil one minute long cut but Mr. Mike goes the fuck off on this cut, its off the hook, they needed to have made this into a full length song. "Wicked Wayz" is a song with Ice Cube and this song is just shitty and thats all I have to say bout it.
"Da Boogie Man" is track 10 and its the worst song on the album, the beat is just shitty. "Dope Fiction" revives the album a little, he drops some really nice vocals on this song. After this is "Game Affiliation" and it has a really nice beat, its a pretty nice song. "In The Midst Of Smoke" is track 13 and it is alright at best, but it aint nothing that special that you will want to bump all the time. "Life On Tha Line" is after that and its an alright cut, he drops some nice shit but its nothing off the hook.
The last cut Eightball & MJG make an appearance with Mr. Mike---its called "Stop Lying", this song isnt that tight, you will be able to at least listen to it but its nothing that I really bump. Overall this album is alright, Mr. Mike is a very lyrical rapper, he has an East Coast vocal style but his content is straight southern---this album I would recommend to all the old Suave House fans and to anyone that is into southern rap--I wouldnt go out and buy it new but if you can find it used its worth the scrilla for sure.
