I dont if its me or not, but none of my friends like this album and I think its pretty tight. But who knows, Nino is part of the group from Texas called PKO and they have dropped many albums over the years, I think one of the other niggas in PKO is Kotton Mouth. I have never heard any of their songs besides the one that was on Down South Hustlas. The first track on this album is pretty tight, its called "Pimpin Aint Eazy"--the beat is really tight and Nino drops some really nice lyrics. Up after that is "Afta Midnite" and this is a really nice cut, the beat is tight and bumpin.
"Big Ole Pimp" features Kotton Mouth, I aint really feelin this cut that much, its straight but nothing that tight. "Ashes II Ashes" is next up and its pretty tight, the chorus is dat on dat and he drops nice lyrics. Track 5 is called "No Way Out" and its another straight cut that you will be able to listen too but nothing that you will bump over and over. "True II Life Playa" has a nice beat but the lyrics arent that tight, I dont like his rappin style on this cut. "Neighborhood Dumpsta" is a really nice lil cut, he drops nice lyrics and the beat is pretty tight also.
The next track features Kotton Mouth again, its pretty tight--its called "Texas Streetz". "Ask Somebody" is after that and it aint nothing that tight, the beat is off and the lyrics arent anything impressive. "Slow Ride" is something that you could roll to on those long smoked out Sundays, very chilled cut. "Da Pallbearer" is a very nice track, he is kickin some real gangsta shit here. Track 12 is called "Be True" and I aint feelin this cut that much, the beat is tight but it doesnt go right with the flows on the track. The last cut is just talking and shit, giving shout outs and stuff.
Overall this album is pretty tight, alot of the songs sound the same though, I personally would recommend picking it up if you can find it used, I wouldnt suggest buying it new but its a pretty nice album.
