Now this reggae nigga has been around forever, he has been on all the underground texas shit and he always come tight as fuck. The first cut on this track is “Shine” which features TC, C-Note and Lil O. This is a pretty tight cut, its more of a balla balla type of song, talking bout how much money they got and shit. Papa Reu basically only sings the chorus’s on most of these tracks. “Bluka Bluka” features TC, it’s a very tight song, Papa Reu really shines up on this track. TC also comes hella tight. “Na Mean” is a solo track by Papa Reu, he comes really tight on this track, I love his style and if you like rap reggae you will really love this shit also.
“Diamonds & Pearls” features Lil Keke, this song is more of a slower style cut that is bout loving women and shit like that. This shit could be on BET. It’s a very commercial sounding song besides Lil Keke’s verse---which aint all that either. “Be Bout Ya Issue” features Tripple M, I don’t know where they from but they aint from Texas. I think they from Louisiana. They alright but nothing that tight, the song is pretty straight because Papa Reu comes really tight. Up next Boo has a track, Boo is from Mississippi and is tight as fuck, this cut is called “Holla”. Both Papa and Boo come really tight on this track, the beat is blazing also.
“Bubble” is track 8, its an alright cut, it features Phoenix (who sounds like a east coast nigga). This song is aight but nothing that I ever bump. “Now Everybody Wanna Be Down” is tight as fuck, Papa Reu really shines on the chorus on this track, Lone Starzz also come hella correct on this shit. “How We Ball” sounds like a fuckin Cash Money/East Coast mixture----its weak and whack as fuck. Up next is “Black Queen” and it’s a solo track by Papa Reu, and it’s a dedication to the Black women, this song is alright at best, nothing I would ever bump in my life though.
“X-Cuse Me” is a hella tight cut, this cut features Ras Intelligence. Even though this is a balla balla type of song, its really tight, you really cant help but to bob your head when you hear Papa Reu. My nigga Z-ro is up next on “Looking Good” which he has on his new album, but the version on his new album is weak compared to this one. This track is the best song on the album by far, he comes really strong on this track along with Papa Reu. The last track is “Grimmy Niggaz” and this song doesn’t seem like it should be on this album, the style, beat and everything is different then the other songs, it almost sounds East Coast. It features Joe Traxx, Phoenix, Ali, Rashaad.
Overall this is a tight album to get blown to and chill out to. Its not really any gangsta shit, just like Sunday blunt smoking chilled reggae shit. I personally love this album cuz its soo chilled. So if you like reggae in your raps, you will love this shit.
